About us
Welcome to Sydsiden Bilutleie. We were established in 1982, and that makes us Ålesund's oldest car rental company.
Sydsiden Bilutleie in Ålesund has vans of all sizes, from 3 m3 - to a 34 m3 box van with lift. Cars up to 20 m3 can be driven with a normal driving licence.
With a total of approximately 200 cars and vans in the car park, Sydsiden Bilutleie is one of the leading car rental companies in North-West Norway.

Rental info
All rental prices include damage and theft insurance. Request a quote for any additional insurance (Super insurance and Personal insurance).
Car deductible: From NOK 9,000 / NOK 10,000 / NOK 12,000 / NOK 20,000
Collection/delivery fee from NOK. NOK 200 within the city limits. NOK 7 NOK per km extra outside the city limits.
Delivery of a car outside opening hours: NOK NOK 375 (Opening hours: weekdays 8am-5pm).
Additional equipment on request: Navigation, child seat/cushion, ski rack.
Minimum age for renting cars and vans: 21 years.
In the winter season, a separate winter supplement of NOK will be added. NOK 28 per 24 hours. (1 November – 31 March).
Credit cards are used as payment when handing over a car. The following credit cards can be used: VISA and MasterCard
The deposit depends on the car model and length of the rental agreement.
The 3-hour rental agreement only applies to drop-in rentals.
